Getting to Leadville from Wolcott
Wolcott sits along the Eagle River corridor, making for a straightforward drive through some of the Rockies' most photogenic terrain to reach Lake County Airport.
What to Expect
After a short pre-flight briefing, you'll be airborne for a 30 to 60 minute tour that opens up views toward the State Bridge area and the Flat Tops to the west, along with the Sawatch and Mosquito ranges to the south as you approach Leadville. It's a chance to see the rural stretch around Wolcott from an angle almost no one gets.
